About Trejo's Trading Post
Three years old. That's when it started.

Our Story
I used to buy my son Pokémon cards and slide them into binders without knowing what they were worth. I never cared about the value. I cared about the memories. I grew up on Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Dragon Ball Z, and I wanted him to grow up with the same values I learned as a kid.
For his eighth birthday, we took him to Collect-A-Con without knowing what we were getting ourselves into. That day changed everything.
He brought binder after binder of cards. Vendors and collectors started showing him how to compare cards, check prices, understand condition, and learn how the hobby really works. He wasn't just collecting anymore. He was learning business, confidence, and community.
Today, many people know him as Little Trejo.
My son has a speech delay, and sometimes communicating can be challenging for him. But behind the vendor table, something changes. The hobby gives him confidence. It gives him a voice. It gives him the courage to talk to strangers, negotiate, and stand tall.
As a dad, nothing means more to me than watching your child build something of their own. What started as cardboard became bonding time, road trips, life lessons, friendships, and memories we'll carry forever.
Trejo's Trading Post and Trejo's Card Show were built from that experience. We wanted to create the kind of event where collectors, vendors, kids, parents, and families could come together and feel welcomed.
We aren't just running card shows.
We're building memories, creating opportunities, and growing a community.
Our Mission
To create a welcoming environment where collectors, vendors, families, and hobby enthusiasts can connect, learn, grow, and build lasting memories through the hobby we love.
What We Stand For
Community First
Trejo's Card Show was built around people. Whether you're a first-time collector, a seasoned vendor, a parent bringing your child, or someone returning to the hobby after years away, we want everyone to feel welcome. The relationships built within the hobby are just as important as the cards themselves.
Future Vision
Our goal is to continue growing Trejo's Card Show into one of the premier family-friendly card show experiences in Texas while staying true to the values that started it all: family, community, integrity, and creating opportunities for others.
